Thanks to the initiative of William Wallace Kengle's great granddaughter, Carol Croft, 84 years after his death, he has his first headstone. Located in the Oswego Cemetery, in Oswego Kansas, he is buried with three of his children, two of whom died in Oswego before the Kengle family joined the Oklahoma land rush in April of 1889.
